Whitemoss AAC achieved Scottish Athletics Clubmark status on 12th August 2009, approximately the 8th club in Scotland to do so and the 3rd in South Lanarkshire.
Clubmark is a Scottish Athletics accreditation programme designed to assist athletics clubs maintain a set of minimum standards in the following:-
1. Club Management
2. Duty of Care and Welfare
3. Sports Equity and Ethics
4. Coaching and Competition Programme
Clubmark has been developed in partnership with UK Athletics and the four Home Country Athletics Governing Bodies.
Clubmark aims to assist clubs in meeting a set of nationally recognised minimum operating standards and will help clubs in ensuring that they are 'fit for purpose'.
Achieving Clubmark will enable clubs to grow, and build a sustainable future, as well as becoming nationally recognised as working towards a safe and effective club environment. Clubs who achieve Clubmark will also be able to access a range of benefits to further assist their development including additional funding opportunities.
It is good to know that Whitemoss is in a position to benefit in this way.


Constitution
Whitemoss adopted its club constitution regulating the conduct of its members at the AGM in September 2005. This was updated at October 2008's AGM. The document can be accessed to the left of this page.
